Don’t just take our word for it — here is what our students are saying about their experience of Lee Abbey London.

I am very grateful to you and the rest of the Lee Abbey team – you are amazing people with true Christian values, you care about physical and mental well-being of your residents as nobody else.

Thank you for all your support, interesting events you organised, responsiveness and readiness to help.

I felt like at home even being so far away from my family. I will always remember my time.

Andriana Kozar, Ukraine, studied at Imperial College Business School

My experience at Lee Abbey has been overwhelmingly positive. The sense of community is evident in everyday interactions, shared meals, events, and the willingness of people to help one another.

One of the most distinctive aspects of Lee Abbey has been the community members who serve here. They … become friends and an active part of residents’ lives. We share meals, play sports, play board games, attend events together, and build genuine friendships.

I would readily recommend Lee Abbey London to other students.

Moving abroad to an unfamiliar place for the first time was a significant transition, and Lee Abbey London has been a vital source of support over the past nine months. I fondly recall the summer BBQ party where I first tasted Pimm’s, as well as the historical and West End theatre trips that showed me different sides of London.

I have deeply enjoyed meeting friends from various cultures and backgrounds, and I am incredibly grateful for the conversations and outings that have helped keep homesickness at bay.

This environment actively encourages us to live out the values of Christ by remaining forgiving, patient, and open with one another. I firmly believe that this community model is its greatest strength.

My experience of living at Lee Abbey has been very positive and has gone beyond my expectations. I expected student accommodation to mainly provide a room and basic facilities. However, Lee Abbey has felt much more like a home and a community.

The social events and activities at Lee Abbey have been especially meaningful to me. They are not only enjoyable, but also give residents the chance to connect, learn from one another, and feel included.

My impression of the community members who serve at Lee Abbey is very positive. They are friendly, welcoming, kind, and genuinely willing to help.

I would strongly recommend Lee Abbey London to my friends and to other students. It provides a friendly, peaceful, and supportive environment, which is very important for students who are living away from home.

Lee Abbey London has become much more than just a place to stay while studying in London. The staff and community members are at the heart of the building, creating an environment that is welcoming, joyful, supportive, and full of life.

Their Christian faith is not simply something they talk about but something they live out through their kindness, hospitality, and willingness to support others.

Lee Abbey is also a uniquely diverse place where people from different countries, cultures, and backgrounds live and work together, creating a warm and inclusive atmosphere that is difficult to find elsewhere in London. This diversity has enriched my experience enormously and is one of the reasons I have enjoyed living here so much.
